RTM 2300 : More versatile radon / thoron gas monitor

The RTM 2300 is a state-of-the-art radon and thoron gas monitor, renowned for its versatility, precision, and user-friendliness. Designed for demanding measurement tasks, it is ideal for use in workplaces, mining, geophysical studies, and monitoring air, soil gas, and water samples. Additionally, it is an indispensable tool for public safety measurements and radiological environmental monitoring.

Advanced technology for accurate results: The RTM 2300 employs alpha spectroscopy with four silicon detectors to accurately separate and quantify radon ([²²²Rn]) and thoron ([²²⁰Rn]), as well as their decay products. This technology prevents long-term contamination from lead-210 (²¹⁰Pb), ensuring measurement accuracy and long-term stability. The processor-controlled rotary vane pump guarantees efficient sampling, while the elimination of desiccant cartridges minimizes maintenance efforts.

The RTM 2300 can optionally be equipped with a gamma probe (NaJ(Tl) detector) featuring 1024-channel MCA spectroscopy for an energy range of 25 keV to 3 MeV. This option enables dose rate measurements and the identification of specific nuclides.

Flexible Sensor Options and Expansions: The device comes with integrated sensors for humidity, temperature, pressure, and flow rate. Optional sensors are available for air, water, and process analysis, as well as wind measurements. With up to 16 programmable sampling cycles and 30 alarm thresholds, the RTM 2300 can be tailored to your specific needs.

Robust design and intuitive operation: The RTM 2300 features a color touchscreen display (6 x 9 cm) and extensive interfaces, including USB, RS232, RS485, and optional Wi-Fi. Collected data is stored on a 2 GB SD card and can be visualized and managed using the dVISION software.

Accessories and calibration: The standard delivery includes a transport case, dust filters, calibration certificate (DAkkS-accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018), and more. Optional accessories such as soil gas probes, exhalation hoods,Radon bubbler and water intake protection are also available.
